A new feature is available for researchers using the Click Animal Operations (AOPS) module. The Transfer PI Proxy Role (TPP) was implemented on February 11, 2026.

What does it do?

Allows Protocol Team Members to accept, reject, and submit animal transfers on behalf of their PI.

How does it work?

The Transfer PI Proxy Role (TPP) is a new user role that can be assigned to users in the Click Animal Operations (AOPS) module.

What is required to get access to this role?

1. Users must be designated as "authorized to order animals" on the relevant IACUC protocols.
2. Principal investigators must contact the clickhelpdesk@msu.edu and provide the NetIDs for desired users of the new TPP role.
