AVMA-PLIT Courses

MSU’s Environmental Health and Safety has approved the use of AVMA-PLIT courses for Veterinary students and clinicians. After training is completed in the AVMA-PLIT system, records are transferred to MSU’s training compliance system (Ability LMS) for compliance tracking.

Login and Password Retrieval

Log in with your NetID@msu.edu and password you set when creating your AVMA account registering. Use the Lost your password? link provided on the AVMA-PLIT site under the Log In button.

New User Registration

1. Select the Self Registration Button at the bottom of MSU's AVMA-PLIT page.
2. Complete fields:
   • First Name: first name as registered with MSU
   • Last Name: last name as registered with MSU
   • Username: MSU NetID, e.g. smiths32
   • Email: MSU Email address, e.g. smiths32@msu.edu
   • Password: Unique password that is not the same as any password you use in MSU systems
3. Register Your Account.
4. Once registered (or logged in), click the Dashboard to view available courses.
